dvdPean Video is a tool that makes a backup copy of your DVDs, converting video into AVI, WMV, RMVB, VCD, SVCD, DivX, Xvid, MOV, MP4 and other popular video formats. You can rip any part of a DVD, as well as the whole movie. It is possible to fit a movie into user specified file size, or split the output file so that later you can burn it on two (or more) CD-Rs. Another important feature allows you to choose between audio channels and subtitles to rip the ones you need, as DVDs quite often have more than one of each (e.g. multilingual DVDs, or extra audio channels with comments by actors or staff). The program has built-in preview.
