CrystalWolf Free Audio Player is a small and basic total audio player. If you do not like your software to be packed with features you will never use but spend hours to make sense of, this free player is for you. It offers high-quality playback for more than 20 formats most often used for music - APE, FLAC, MP3, WMA, OGG Vorbis, AAC, M4a, and many others.

CrystalWolf Audio Player looks very simple, though a small spectral display makes it look cool. All basic functions for playing music are there: a full set of play controls and counters, repeat and shuffle buttons, and a volume slider. As in the most of the modern mp3 players you can open files from a folder and add them to the playlist or drag-and-drop music from your file manager. If the entire folder is added CrystalWolf Free Audio Player will scan it together with subfolders adding all found files to its playlist and starting to play immediately. It will not consume much of your system resources as its memory and CPU usage level is very low.
The program provides simple general settings such as file and folder associations and some other helpful options. For still lower usage of resources, its spectrum analyzer can be disabled. The program can be minimized to the system tray and controlled by hotkeys for your convenience. Its multilingual interface supports more than a dozen languages.

CrystalWolf Free Audio Player supports CUE sheets. Being associated with files, it will play CUE files on a double click. If you add a folder of music files, the program will automatically detect CUE sheets in the folder and load corresponding track lists instead of adding big files with no track references. Thus it will play APE + CUE, FLAC + CUE and other combinations correctly.
