AVS Ringtone Maker is a small and simple software to edit media files and create ringtones. The application allows producing ringtones from any audio file and saving them in the following formats: MP3, WAV, WMA, M4A, AMR, AAC. The ringtone maker helps you enhance your ringtones with simple audio effects and filters, fade the music in and out. This easy-to-use software provides the most powerful environment for creating unique ringtones and uploading them to mobile phones via Bluetooth, IrDA or USB.

The program's intuitive interface makes creating a new custom ringtone just a breeze. In the source panel which shows all the files on your computer hard disk, you can select the file you want to convert to a ringtone. The tool also allows to record sounds (your friends' voices, your kids' laugh, your dog, a soundtrack from your favorite movie, etc.) from a microphone or CD players, from the Line in of your sound card. Next, drop the tune to the Timeline to see the file duration and other details and to customize it.

To select only a part of the file you want to use as a ringtone, highlight it with the left or the right mouse buttons. Now you can edit the file: trim, cut, delete parts, and apply some audio effects. The following effects are available: Amplify, Fade in and Fade out, Normalize, Reverse, Flanger, Chorus, Delay, Phaser, Vibrato, Reverb, Time Stretch, and Pitch Shift. Each effect has a number of presets, but you change the effect settings manually and save them as a preset to be able to use afterwards. A built-in player can be used to play back the media file to listen to the changes made and fine-tune them if necessary. Mix several audio files to be a ringtone and apply effects to the mixed audio sequence. Save and upload the ringtone file to a portable device.
