Joy RingTone Converter is a small and user-friendly tool to create ringtones for mobile phones without much effort in high quality. The utility supports MP3, WAVE files and CD tracks and converts them to the following ringtone formats: MMF, AMR, MIDI, MP3, WAV, AAC, MP4, 3GP.

The program window shows the waveform of the melody you are about to convert to a ringtone. In the upper left part you can find the main commands: Open Media file, Rip from CD and Play. Other menus are placed to the right to enable quick access to the CD Ripper, MP3 Compressor, Batch Ringtone Converter, Options, Help. One more group of buttons here allows the direct conversion for each of the supported formats MP3 to WAV, MP3 to MMF, MP3 to AMR, WAV to MP3, WAV to WMA, WAV to 3GP, WAV to AAC, WAV to MIDI.

To create a ringtone from your favorite song you just need to find the music file on your hard drive and open it in the Joy RingTone Converter or rip it directly from CD to the format and the quality you need. You can either convert the entire audio for use on your mobile phone or just select a fragment of it with your mouse. The time scale helps you better define the part of the track you want to convert. A time counter at the bottom of the GUI displays the selection you have made.

The built-in CD Ripper extracts CD tracks to WAV and MP3 with remarkable output quality and high ripping speed. The MP3 Compressor can be very helpful if you need to save space on your mobile phone as it reduces the MP3 file size up to 30%-70%. The ringtone ripper provides the batch conversion function for converting multiple WAV or MP3 to ringtones simultaneously!

The program allows customizing such advanced output parameters as sample rate, bitrate, volume, etc. to adjust ringtone quality. All information from the ID3 tags (title, artist, album, etc.) will be preserved in the converted ringtones.
